Vicky and Rita took a group of residents to the Jesus Centre for our fortnightly Memory Cafe session which is open to all with dementia and their carers.
We had Rosie and Eddie from the community join us along with Chrissie, Betty and Willow. We reminisced over books together and had a cup of tea and then played the Alphabet Game, where we had to think of something associated with Summer. Eddie won. We had a lovely lunch of shepherd’s pie and veg, followed by mint chocolate cheesecake. We enjoyed chatting with each other and getting to know Rosie and Eddie better.
