We had a fabulous afternoon at our Beach Day (thank you Zoe for the idea). Lots of friends and relatives turned up and people lent us their buckets and spades, wind breakers and deck chairs.
We bought some paddling pools for people to bathe their feet and relax. We made sand castles in one of the paddling pools which was fun. We played Hook A Duck and various other outdoor games and also enjoyed ice cream cones. Sadly the afternoon was cut short with a downpour but we had fun while it lasted.
