A rainy start to the day but we had an amazing day out nevertheless. There were 16 of us in all, 6 residents and 10 helpers, made up of carers, friends and relatives
A lovely family feel to the day, we enjoyed the train journeys there and back. The Lollipop Express was as enjoyable as ever. The Ocean Bar Restaurant were very accommodating and allowed us to go an hour earlier than planned for our lunch due to the heavy rain. Everyone was impressed with the meal and efficient service we received. By the time we left the restaurant it was a lovely sunny day. We enjoyed walking along the pier before our journey home.
