Everyone gathered in the main lounge around 4.30pm to welcome our monthly Lost Chord entertainment duo. We enjoyed listening to a female classical, soprano singer.
She was accompanied on the keyboard and they performed a variety of popular wartime songs and some sing-a-long tunes from the musicals. They encouraged clapping and dancing as she went around the group. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Gordon and we all enjoyed the coffee cake made by Tracy (special request from his family). Lovely to be joined by Ann’s daughter, Katie and Janet’s son, Adrian.
